Reem Central Park

This guide to Reem Central Park in Abu Dhabi opens on the day construction finished in 2018, then reaches back to when Al Reem Island was still open water off the city. It follows the 2004 government plan to dredge the island into being and the rival developers racing to build on it, including Sorouh, which opened its towers to foreign buyers on rare ninety-nine-year leases starting in 2006. Sorouh later merged with a rival, Aldar, in 2013.
