About this audio guide
This guide to CLYMB Yas Island in Abu Dhabi traces the 2019 build that needed sixteen fans instead of an ordinary wind tunnel's four, earning two Guinness world records for its skydiving chamber and its climbing wall, the SUMMYT. It follows the instructors who, starting in 2021, began flying every Friday evening in a free show called Dare to Soar, spinning and skimming inches from the tunnel's edge with nothing but moving air beneath them. Stand at the glass and watch a controlled fall that never lands.
